Engie EPS keeps on its support to Theodora Foundation by participating to the Easter\u2019s funding campaign \u201cDolci Pensieri\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pandemic has affected our daily life in a significant way, and it comes with no surprise that for children in hospitals and care facilities it is an even bigger challenge.<\/p>\n

Due to anti-covid policies they are often isolated from those who love them and keeping them smiling and laughing every day seems an impossible feat.<\/p>\n

Undeterred by the lockdown, Theodora Foundation continues its effort towards the humanization of healthcare and Engie EPS keeps trying its best to sustain Theodora\u2019s mission by participating to the funding campaign \u201cDolci Pensieri\u201d.<\/p>\n

Theodora Foundation, in Italy since 1995, pulls out all the stops to continue providing entertainment to children also via virtual means. Theodora\u2019s Dottor Sogni are doing an incredible job with good night tales read over the phone and with online visits where they entertain children with a world of stories and adventures.<\/p>\n

The funding campaign \u201cDolci Pensieri\u201d aims at bringing little threats to hospitalize children during this challenging Easter.<\/p>\n

Theodora Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Theodora Foundation was created in memory of a special mother. When Andr\u00e9 Poulie, President and Founder, was hospitalised for a long period of time because of an unfortunate accident, his mother, Th\u00e9odora, every day, brought moments of joy and playfulness to her own child as well as to all the other little patients of the ward.<\/p>\n

After her passing, Andr\u00e9 and his brother Jan decided to spread her strength and spirit to hospitalised children with the Dottor Sogni, of whom they invented the character and role. It was so that in 1993 in Switzerland the Dottor Sogni of Fondation Th\u00e9odora were born.<\/p>\n

In Italy, since 1995, the Foundation brings moments of joy and playfulness to the hospitalised children, taking care of their \u201chealthy\u201d side, with the special visits of Dottor Sogni, professional artists, commissioned and specifically trained to work in high complexity pediatric wards.<\/p>\n
